A small introduction.

The friends of Park Melin Mynach/Frindiau Parc Melin Mynach are a small collective group of local residents who formed in Late 2020.

As a collective we all had the same interest’s the park, its history & the community. After the initials meetings we all had the same desire and aim which is to improve the facilities at the park while maintaining the historic water mill at the forefront of the parks history and marking the park accessible for everyone.

As a friends group we have already held several events to start this process. Some of the first events in the park being massive clearance events of the mill area to clear overgrown hedgerows and trees that were encroaching one the ruin features while consulting Cadw for advice on how to do so without damaging all that remains.

We have also secured funding to add more seating to the park which also includes wheelchair friendly benches.

Along with the mill clearance events and fund securing we have held some amazing events in the park which you can find out more about on the 2021 events page including a crazy Halloween party and a family funday in the summer holidays.
